Meet Zara - A nervous doodle girl.
Hi, my name is Zara. I am an 8-month-old, 30lb aussiedoodle with a playful but nervous personality.
I'm a shy girl who needs a little time when meeting new people. Once I feel safe, I will become one of the goofiest, playful and most loving companions. I am energetic but I don't mind relaxing by your feet.
I am house trained, but I am still young and could have an accident, especially in a new environment. I'm also crate-trained, it's my safe place. I go to it when I am nervous, when I'm home alone and at night. I also do well on a leash and know some commands. I like other dogs, but introductions need to be slow and thoughtful.
Cats, I'm not sure what cats are. The little humans are ok, but prefer the old kids, the younger ones make me a bit nervous sometimes. I do enjoy car rides and walks; I like being brushed and my best human friend grooms me and always says I'm such a good girl. Keep in mind I will need frequent grooming appointments and brushing. If you want to make me happy, my all-time favorite things are my chew toys (even though I prefer sticks I find), toys with squeakers, chasing a ball and splashing in water! I hope we can be friends!
Zara would be best in a calm environment with someone who understands that love comes with patience. If you're willing to let Zara move at her own pace, you won't just be giving her a home you'll be giving her the happy ending she deserves.
