Thaddeus

Meet Thaddeus 🐾🐾
This sweet boy was pulled from a rural shelter just before New Year’s. When he first arrived, Thaddeus was absolutely terrified—so scared that even being looked at made him cry and have accidents. It was heartbreaking. No puppy or dog should ever be that afraid of people 💔
The good news? Thaddeus is gaining trust and confidence every day. He’s going to be a big boy with an even bigger heart, full of love for the right person. He must have hound dog in him because he enjoys having a good conversation with you😊
He will need:
• Love and patience
• Training (a must)
• Toys, enrichment, and lots of chew toys
• A calm, committed home willing to help him continue building confidence
We have his birthday around 11/3/2025. If you’re looking for a big love bug and have the time and heart to help a special dog blossom, come meet Thaddeus. He’s so worth it. 🐶❤️
He will be at the adoption event Saturday 11-2 at 8901 Hwy 87 #119. Please read the important stuff below:
Thaddeus is available for our Foster to Adopt Program through the rescue. To qualify for this you must live in Lubbock County. If your application is approved, you will pay a $100 non-refundable deposit to take him home. He must be brought back to the rescue for all scheduled vaccinations (you will be given a schedule) and also taken to the scheduled neuter/spay appointment which will be scheduled by rescue. Once he is fully vetted we finalize the adoption and at that time you pay the remaining $100 of the adoption fee. He is not fully vetted so cannot be taken to parks, on walks, or even Petsmart until she has all her vaccines unless carried the entire time and not letting her feet touch the ground. The foster family has worked hard to keep him safe and well and the rescue trusts the adoptive family to continue keeping the pups safe. Please email
Adoptions.spspca@gmail.com if you have questions about Wyatt. You can also meet him at the adoption event Saturday 11-2 at 8901 highway 87 building 119.
