Penny
Meet Penny, an orphaned chi mix puppy. She was born around 10/6/2025. Penny might be young but already knows she needs several belly rubs throughout the day🥰
Penny is sweet and loving with the right amount of sass to keep you smiling. She is a puppy with puppy needs including tons of love, patience, training, toys, playtime with her human, things to chew on and of course, belly rubs.
She is quickly learning potty pads and enjoys napping with her foster and playing with her brother Wyatt and foster’s other dogs big and small. Penny is eating Science Diet Puppy small bites. Come meet her Saturday, but be sure to read the important stuff below:
Penny is available for our Foster to Adopt Program through the rescue. To qualify for this you must live in Lubbock County. If your application is approved, you will pay a $100 non-refundable deposit to take her home. She must be brought back to the rescue for all scheduled vaccinations (you will be given a schedule) and also taken to the scheduled neuter/spay appointment which will be scheduled by rescue. Once she is fully vetted we finalize the adoption and at that time you pay the remaining $100 of the adoption fee. She is not fully vetted so cannot be taken to parks, on walks, or even Petsmart until she has all her vaccines unless carried the entire time and not letting her feet touch the ground. The foster family has worked hard to keep her safe and well and the rescue trusts the adoptive family to continue keeping the pups safe. Please email
Adoptions.spspca@gmail.com if you have questions about Penny. You can also meet her at the adoption event Saturday 11-2 at 8901 highway 87 building 119.
