Nova is a once in a lifetime girl. She is a pitbull terrier born approximately 9/15/2023.
We’re not 100% sure what Nova went through before coming to us, but we know it wasn’t the life she deserved. She came to us with enough scars you’d think she lived through a lifetime of war at under a year old. Our girl is healing, but she has a long road to go.
Nova is forgiving but timid and needs time to know you’re her friend, she often walks around with her tail tucked, head low, and a cute army crawl. In the months we’ve had Nova she’s opened up to children, cats and dogs. She spends most of her day playing in the back yard with her foster siblings, or making her way to her kennel with a quick pit stop on our bed.
She loves to give kisses, nibble you when she wants attention, or paw you until she gets the love she needs.
Because of Novas past, and her fear of loud and new places we are limiting visits to private only. We want her to know she is safe and secure while visiting with her potential forever home.
Nova is kennel and house trained, spayed, and does great with children or other pets.
