She loves to play, proudly carry her toys around the house, and chew on her favorite bones—especially if she can convince you to join her by gently pushing the bone right up to your face. She is about 99% potty trained, but like many young dogs, she can have accidents if left inside or in her kennel too long. With consistency and a routine, she continues to improve. She does well with other dogs and cats when introductions are done properly, but she has not been around children and would likely do best in an adult-only home.
Merry Christmas has been in foster care long-term, still waiting for someone to look past her fear and see the joyful little soul underneath. She’s not a dog who will instantly trust—but she is a dog who will love deeply once she feels safe. All she needs is someone willing to go slow and let her be herself.
