Meet Maya. She is a beautiful Anatolian Shepherd mix girl. She was born approximately 4/1/2024. Maya wandered up to her foster’s home several months ago. They noticed she was limping and not putting weight on her back leg. The also noticed she was pregnant. Maya disappeared a few days and while looking for her they found her and her 5 newborn babies hiding behind a shed. The fosters took Maya and the babies home and have taken excellent care of them. After Maya took care of her babies as needed it was time for her to be taken care of. Maya had surgery on her back leg and they had to amputate her leg. Maya has adjusted well and is a great friendly loving dog. She gets along with the entire foster family and loves the kids. Maya also gets along with other dogs. Maya’s babies are being adopted and it’s time for this girl to also have her forever family to continue being spoiled and pampered.
Maya’s adoption fee is $175 which includes her vaccinations, microchip, spay, heartworm negative test with current monthly preventative. Maya will be available for adoption this Saturday 11-2 at 8901 highway 87 building 119. You can also email adoptions.spspca@gmail.com with questions.
