Maryanne is a precious 2-year-old Schnauzer mix who may not be the first dog to run into your arms. In fact, when she first meets you, she may be a little shy, a little scared, and unsure of what to think. She’s the kind of girl who needs someone to be patient with her and let her learn, at her own pace, that not every new person or new experience is something to fear. Underneath that nervous little heart is a sweet girl who has so much love to give.
Maryanne LOVES kids and does wonderfully with other dogs. She is housebroken, uses a doggy door like a champ, and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night. She has already mastered so many of the things that make her a wonderful companion. She just needs one more thing:

Maryanne may need a little time before she trusts you. She may watch you from across the room, and she may need you to show her, day after day, that she is loved and that she is finally home.
