Luke

Yo, what up? I’m Luke from Lacy’s litter. I was born in the country 8/13/24. Arrived in a rural shelter 8/14/24 with a euthanasia date of 8/16/24. Luckily, we were saved by SPSPCA ON 8/15/24♥️🐾 I am probably a cattle dog /Great Pyrenees mix. I will be a big love bug and will need a job to do and will not be a good apartment dog. I am so ready for my own family to run and play with! To adopt me you must love puppy kisses and giving me belly rubs. Those are a must for me! 🐾 I’m at that perfect age to learn and become someone’s best forever friend. I am young and will need love and patience as I’m taught house manners, basic commands and of course I’ll need lots of toys and chew bones. I am doing well on potty pad training. I eat Purina One +Plus Healthy Puppy Formula. Fair warning ⚠️ I really like chewing on shoes 👟!! I can’t wait to meet you!

Luke is eligible for the Foster to Adopt Program through the rescue. To qualify for this you must live in Lubbock County. If your application is approved, you will pay a $100 non-refundable deposit to take him home. He must be brought back to the rescue for all scheduled vaccinations (you will be given a schedule) and also take him to get neutered which will be scheduled by rescue. Once he is fully vetted we finalize the adoption and at that time you pay the remaining $100 of adoption fee. Luke is not fully vetted so he cannot be taken to parks, on walks, or even Petsmart until he has all his vaccines unless he is carried the entire time and not let his feet touch the ground. The foster family has worked hard to keep him safe and well and the rescue trust the adoptive family to continue keeping him safe.
