Meet Handsome Howie! He is a poodle mix born approximately 3/15/2021. Howie loves his people once he gets to know you. He will need lots of patience and time to learn to trust. He prefers to sit in your lap and cuddle. Howie is almost housetrained. He does prefer to have potty breaks on the sidewalk instead of grass. Possibly he has not been on grass before. Howie loves his treats but prefers to have them with no other dogs around. He will play with small and medium dogs so a dog friend in the home would be good. It is unknown if Howie likes cats as the foster home does not have cats. He is a door runner so his adopter needs to make sure doorways are watched and he is secure when doors and gates are opened.
Howie’s adoption fee is $175 which incudes his vaccinations, microchip, neuter, negative heartworm test with current monthly preventative. Since he is very shy and scared he is private meet at this time. Please email adoptions.spspca@gmail.com to set a meeting.
