LUBBOCK, TX — Sources confirm that Grogu, a 5-year-old Bulldog/Rottweiler mix weighing approximately 80 pounds, remains on the search for a permanent residence after an unexpected return to rescue.
Witnesses describe Grogu as “ridiculously sweet,” “extremely handsome,” and “a professional couch cuddler.”
Despite facing several hardships, including the loss of the only home he had known since puppyhood and a history of being bullied by another dog, Grogu continues to greet his humans with unwavering love and optimism.
“I just want someone to hang out with, take walks with, and maybe share a couch with,” Grogu stated through his legal representative (his foster).
While Grogu is currently accepting applications for the position of Best Friend, applicants should note the following:
✔ Must enjoy receiving unconditional love
✔ Must appreciate a large dog who thinks he’s a lap dog
✔ Must be willing to provide snacks and belly rubs
✔ Must understand that trust takes time
Grogu loves people, does great with kids, and is happiest when he’s included in everyday life. He can be nervous around other dogs due to past experiences, but he has already made tremendous progress and continues to work hard every day.
When asked what he’s looking for in a forever family, Grogu simply replied:
“A home that won’t give up on me.”
