Meet Dasher of the South Plains SPCA - The Reindeer Labs! This pup was born on December 18th. He came to the rescue on Christmas Day needing bottle fed after his mom was poisoned at her home by neighbors and she passed away. Mom was a registered lab and dad is also a lab. Dasher has been pampered and spoiled by his foster moms and his new forever family needs to be sure and be prepared to continue spoiling him! He is a young pup and beginning to learn kennel and puppy pad training. He will each need a lot of chew toys as he loves to play with toys and chew on everything. Please be prepared with lots of patience and love to take Dasher home!
Dasher is available through our Foster to Adopt program through the SPSPCA Rescue. To qualify for this you must live in Lubbock County. If your application is approved you will pay $100.00 no refundable deposit. He must be brought back to the rescue for all scheduled vacations (You will be given a schedule) and also taken to his neuter appointment which is scheduled by the rescue. Once he is fully vetted we will finalize the adoption fee. He has not had all his vaccines so he can not go out in public areas unless carried the entire time and not letting his feet touch the ground. The foster moms have worked hard to keep him safe and well. The rescue trusts that the family will continue to keep him safe.
