Rory is a stunning petite and unusual tabby-calico girl with a gentle soul and a quiet spirit. When you first meet her, she may seem shy and reserved, preferring to watch from a safe distance while she decides if you’re someone she can trust. Having been let down by people in the past, Rory takes a little time to open her heart—but for the patient person willing to earn her trust, the reward is something truly special.

Once she feels safe, Rory transforms into an affectionate companion who loves head bumps, gentle scratches, and sharing her quiet moments with her favorite people. Her favorite pastime is claiming a sunny window perch where she can watch birds, squirrels, and the world go by outside. A warm sunbeam is her idea of luxury, and you’ll often find her stretched out in one, contentedly soaking up the warmth.

While Rory enjoys an occasional burst of playfulness, she’s happiest being a calm observer, taking in all the sights and sounds around her. She would thrive in a patient home without rambunctious kids or pets that understands that the best friendships are sometimes the ones that take a little time to grow.
