Meet Orca 🐋🖤🤍

Orca is a quirky, gorgeous long-haired black-and-white girl with a personality all her own—and when it comes to birdwatching, she takes her job very seriously! Give this girl a window with a view and she’ll be entertained for hours. Her already beautiful eyes get huge and round as she locks onto her feathered friends, and once she’s focused, nothing is breaking that concentration! 🐦👀

Orca can be shy and reserved, especially in new situations, but once she begins to feel comfortable, her sweet little quirks start to shine. When she decides she’d like some attention, she may casually stroll right in front of you, dramatically flop onto the floor, and roll over to show you her belly—Orca’s not-so-subtle way of requesting some love. ❤️

She enjoys gentle scratches and pets, especially when she’s relaxing in one of her favorite spots—or when there happens to be food involved! Orca is a BIG fan of wet food and treats, and either one is a pretty reliable way to start winning her over.

She’s not particularly interested in being carried around and prefers affection with all four paws safely on the ground. She also has a playful side and enjoys chasing balls and toy mice when the mood strikes.

Orca will need a patient, understanding adopter who won’t expect her to feel at home overnight. She needs time to observe, settle in, and decide that her new people are trustworthy. Give her that time without rushing her, and you’ll get the privilege of watching this beautiful, quirky girl gradually let you into her world.

Orca’s perfect home has patience, plenty of treats, cozy places to relax, and—most importantly—a birdwatching window of her very own. 🐦🪟🖤

Orca’s adoption fee is $150.
She is available for Adoption. Ruthie is fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.
