Meet Lincoln – A Cat Who Marches to the Beat of His Own Drum
Not every cat is looking to be carried around, dressed up, or constantly doted on—and Lincoln is perfectly okay with that.
Lincoln is a handsome XL tabby with a big personality, a strong sense of independence, and very clear opinions about personal space. Life hasn't always been easy for him. He was found as a tiny kitten and lovingly bottle-raised, spending his first 11 months in a home before unexpectedly finding himself at the shelter through no fault of his own. That kind of change can be hard on any cat, and Lincoln has needed time to rebuild his confidence and trust.
At first, Lincoln can be reserved and cautious. He prefers to observe new people from a safe distance and decide for himself when he's ready to interact. But once you've earned his trust, you'll discover a sweet and loyal companion who shows affection in his own special ways. He loves headbutts, rubbing against your legs, enjoying a good meal, savoring treats, and soaking up attention—on his terms.
Lincoln isn't a lap cat, and he doesn't enjoy being picked up or handled. He appreciates people who respect his boundaries and understand cat body language. When he wants affection, he'll let you know. When he wants space, he'll let you know that too.
Because other animals can make him feel threatened and defensive, Lincoln is looking for a home where he can be the center of attention. He must be the only cat and is not suitable for homes with small dogs or children. He would thrive with experienced, cat-savvy adults who appreciate strong-willed, independent cats and understand that relationships built on trust are often the most rewarding.
Lincoln is litter box trained, familiar with a Litter-Robot, and ready to find someone who loves him exactly as he is.

Lincoln is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $100.
