Meet Harriet—“Harry” to her friends 🧡
Harriet is an 8-year-old, 15+ pound tortoiseshell tabby with a big presence and an even bigger personality. She’s a sweet and loving girl who may be a little shy at first, but once she settles in, her affectionate side really shines. And make no mistake—Harry is quite sure she’s in charge, and she carries herself like the queen she believes she is!
Harry was deeply loved by her original elderly owner, but sadly they were no longer able to care for her and her siblings. She was surrendered to a small-town, high-kill shelter, and now she’s ready for a fresh start in a safe, loving home.
She enjoys cozy spots, a calm environment, and gentle attention on her terms. While she may take a little time to warm up, she bonds deeply and will become a loyal companion. She does well with other cats, but like her brother Butter, she’s still unsure about dogs.
