Dottie

Meet Dottie – The Haboob Survivor 🌪️🤍

Dottie’s story begins on a windy West Texas day — she was rescued near Floydada during the Haboob of 2025. While the dust swirled through the sky, this tiny girl was just trying to survive. And survive she did. ❤️

Because of her rough start, Dottie was very timid at first and needed time to feel safe. She has made wonderful progress and continues to grow more confident each day. She’s still a shy little lady and can be a bit high-anxiety in new situations, but once she settles in, her sweet nature truly shines.

Dottie loves feather teasers and will happily show off her playful side during her morning zoomies. She also enjoys quiet time watching the world from a sunny window — and she’s a huge fan of Cat TV, especially the bird channel! 🐦📺 It’s one of her favorite ways to relax and feel entertained.

She finds comfort in calm companionship and loves cuddling up with the older male cats in her foster home. Their steady presence helps her feel safe and secure.

Because Dottie can get stressed easily, she would do best in a quiet, patient home without dogs or small children. She needs a gentle environment where she can continue building confidence at her own pace.

She may not be the first cat to greet visitors, but she is the kind who forms deep, meaningful bonds with her person. With a little patience and understanding, Dottie will reward you with soft snuggles, quiet loyalty, and a heart that’s incredibly sweet.

If you have a peaceful home and a soft spot for the shy, sensitive ones, Dotte may be your perfect match. 🖤🤍🐾

Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She is ready for a loving, indoor-only forever home where she can relax and be someone’s beloved companion.
