Meet Tony V. - named after Tony Vlachos because he is a true survivor. He was saved by some wonderful ladies that witnessed Tony being punted, like a football, off a porch. Tony and his mom Poppy (already adopted) survived some horrible treatment but are on to better days!
Tony is shy and will need time to trust you. He enjoys playing with toys, chewing on bones, and playing with other dogs. He will chase cats if they run by him but he doesn’t hurt them. Tony still doesn’t enjoy being picked up but he loves snuggling with his foster in bed or waiting for her to greet him while he waits on the couch. If anyone yells - excited or mad - Tony will run and find a place to hide.
Tony will do best in a house with other outgoing dogs to show him “life is good”. For now we will be doing private meetings only. If you would like to meet this sweet boy in person please email firstname.lastname@example.org
