Meet Mikey 🧡

Mikey is a handsome orange gentleman with an incredible story of resilience and a heart full of love. Estimated to be 4–5 years old, Mikey was witnessed being thrown from a moving truck before finding safety and beginning his journey toward healing. Named after St. Michael, the guardian angel, Mikey has proven that even after hardship, kindness and trust can shine through.

This sweet boy has an angelic face, a chatty personality, and absolutely loves being part of the conversation. If you’re looking for a cat who will greet you with stories about his day, Mikey is your guy! He enjoys gentle pets, sunny windowsills, and has recently discovered the joy of Churu squeezable treats—which have quickly become a favorite.

Mikey thrives with people who understand that trust is earned. While he is friendly and affectionate, he appreciates calm, respectful interactions and can become overstimulated if play gets too rough or rushed. Give him a little patience, and you’ll be rewarded with a loyal companion who genuinely enjoys being near his people.

He gets along well with other cats and has shown positive reactions around calm, non-aggressive dogs. Children are an unknown, but any introductions should be slow and supervised with gentle handling.

Mikey’s foster believes he may have experienced mistreatment in the past, yet he continues to show a remarkably sweet spirit and growing confidence. He may even enjoy adventures on a harness with the right person by his side.
